TyniseNicole…jewelry & things started in the fall of 2010 and it is total one woman show.

That’s right I’m the designer—jewelry and web, model, writer and photographer. But it’s been absolutely great! Having the opportunity to be this present with something you cherish so deeply, something that you want nothing but the best for is, is absolutely incredible.

TyniseNicole is all about infusing my ancestral history with the present time. I am strongly influenced by African and Native American cultures and the complex simplicity in nature. In keeping with an organic presence, many of my pieces incorporate repurposed materials from vintage and thrifted pieces. It’s all about making what was once old, new again with fresh life.

I’ve also come to realize that I’m a bit of a perfectionist…and this certainly translates to my designs. The details are super important to me. Each piece is handmade by me with the closest attention to detail. Great care is taken into play with every design element from the process, concept, design and choice of materials.

In a nutshell, I’m all about making beautiful pieces that enhance what natural beauty you already have going on.

Brave Wings Project

With every purchase a portion will be used to benefit programs that inspire, empower, and educate young girls in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. The goal of Brave Wings is to encourage young disadvantaged girls to showcase their unique natural beauty and soar to their own unique potential.
